Horses do not judge. Working with horses in the arena is a unique medium to reconnect with trust, self-confidence and what makes life meaningful while rethinking and reworking skills like goal-setting and planning, motivation, boundaries, and clear and direct communication. Better With Horses gently asks and supports participants to take responsibility and control over their choices and behaviors. Mirroring people's embodied beliefs, thoughts and feelings, rescued horses lead the way to awareness and the opportunity to explore different choices that better serve you. . Experienced coaches introduce tools and techniques on how to wire in long-lasting change. We help move you from goals, wants and shoulds to actions, doing and being. It is fun work.

Comprehensive and holistic. May be offered as 10 Week Course once a week or 2 Th-Sun Retreats with the Horses and Individually Scheduled Online Coaching.
FOR FUTURE PROGRAMS
Open to all Women Veterans including those in wheelchairs. Scholarships may be available.
Your application expressing interest in a future program will assist us in obtaining funding for ongoing offerings and scholarships.

WITH BLIND FITNESS
COMPLETED
Better With Horse in collaboration with Blind Fitness went on an 8 week journey with people who were sighted but now are legally blind learning about horses and themselves.
With little or no horse experience, leaving their canes at the arena gate, the participants left their canes met their horses, literally hands on from head to tail, hoof to top line.
Lessons in the arena translated to new ways of being in every day life. Tools and techniques, communication and connection, trust and partnership working with their horse in the arena translated to new ways of being in every day life.
Celebrating the end of their program with new found confidence and a different mindset, they led their horse through an obstacle course, only voice assisted. Very abled and capable.
